Company Overview
Venture Mobile’s tagline is “a leader in the
communications industry” but its official website does not give much information
about its company profile. All that can be readily confirmed is that this
company is based in Washington and offers traditional voice and data services.
It appears that the coverage is provided by the Sprint, with the phones
operating in both digital and analog networks.
Prepaid Plans
There are 11 Pay As You Go plans available for
Venture Mobile and all of them include night and weekends. The customers are
required to keep nights and weekends days in order for the account to stay
active.
Pros and Cons
You may keep your Venture Mobile account active
as long as you have an active Pay As You Go plan. These plans include unlimited
calling at nighttime and during weekends. However, the service period of each
plan is very short and if you don’t consume the minutes by the last day of the
service period, they are lost. The phones are also basic with data capabilities
that are very minimal. The Venture Mobile website is difficult to navigate and
getting information out of it is tough.
Features
Minutes
The minutes on the Pay As You Go plans vary
depending on the denomination you purchase: $10 includes 60 minutes, the $12
plan doesn’t have any minutes except the nights and weekends, $20 has 120
minutes, $30 has 200 minutes, $40 has 300 minutes, $35 has 250 minutes, $50 has
375 minutes, the $60 has 450 minutes, $80 has 600 minutes, $100 has 800 minutes
and $120 has 1000 minutes. The shorter the service period of the plan is, the
more expensive the price gets.
