Prepaid Plans

STI Mobile Prepaid has its Easy and Xtra Talk that are divided into two plans. The Easy Plan for STI Mobile Prepaid comes in Easy 7.9 cents Plan and Easy 8.9 cents Plan. For these Easy Plans, the daily access fee for the 7.9 cents Plan is 25 cents while the daily access fee for the 8.9 cents Plan is 9 cents. Minutes under these plans can be bought anytime and rates are deducted per minute.

Xtra Talk $24.99 and Xtra Talk $29.99 is a monthly plan that offers unlimited Nights and Weekends. Night begins at 7pm for the $29.99 while night rates begin at 9pm for the $24.99 plan.

Pros and Cons

Unlimited Nights and Weekends may be interesting to others as well as their lower per minute rates. Though subscribers are assured of a wider coverage area, STI Mobile Prepaid doesn’t offer any roaming services in the event a subscriber is outside the calling area. They also don’t have an abundance of calling features.

Minutes

All Easy Plans have no definite number of minutes per month. Subscribers can just buy airtimes anytime. Easy plans have per minute rates of 7.9 cents and 8.9 cents. For Xtra Talk plans, airtimes are included in the unlimited night and weekend plans. Calls made during peak hours are charged 15 cents per minute.

STI Mobile Prepaid subscribers can enjoy some web access features like emails, instant messages from Yahoo Messengers, as well as downloading, sending picture messages via emails. Web access will cost an additional 19 cents each day while picture messages, regardless of size will cost 29 cents per day.

Text and picture

There are no free messages included in all plans for STI Mobile Prepaid. Each text message, sent or received, will cost 5 cents each. As mentioned, picture messages cost 29 cents a day.

International

For international calls, STI Mobile Prepaid charges international calling rates that differ from one country to another plus per minute airtime charges. Subscribers can check the company’s website for the international rates or call customer support for details.

Minute expiration rules

Minutes under Easy plans will not expire; the account must have a minimum balance equivalent to the daily access fee to avoid account deactivation. For the monthly plans of Xtra Talks, minutes should be consumed within a month. Unused minutes will not be carried over to the next moth.
