All prepaid plans have uniform and fixed rates for text messages and additional minutes. Text messages are 10 cents while calls are 25 cents per minute.

Pros and Cons

The main advantage of Earth Tones Prepaid when compared to other companies is its humanitarian causes. Subscribers will feel good that the money they pay will go for charitable and good causes. However, their basic rate per minute is quite higher compared to other companies that have rates as low as 10 cents a minute. Rates for Earth Tones Prepaid get cheaper if subscribers will opt for the higher monthly plans. Also, they don’t have advanced features like web access and picture, audio or video messages.

Per minute rate for Earth Tones Prepaid is 25 cents. For its Anywhere Plans, specific anytime minutes are included except for the Anywhere .25 Plan. The name of the plan specifies the number of anytime minutes in a month. For example, Anywhere 100 for $10 has 100 total numbers of anytime minutes and so on. Exceeding minutes will be charged of 25 cents per minute. Earth Tones Prepaid also offer shared minutes; for additional $10 per month and a new phone, families and friends can share the total number of minutes in their plan.

Text and picture

Earth Tones only supports text messages for its prepaid plans. Text messages cost 10 cents per message for both messages sent and received.

Rates for international calling using Earth Tones Prepaid plans depends on the standard airtime rates for each country. For frequent callers, Earth Tones Prepaid offers a minute bundle for as low as 1.99 per month plus calling rates depending on each country. Subscribers can call customer support or visit the company’s website for international calling rates for each country.

Long distance

Long distance calls are already part of the prepaid plans and will be deducted from the total anytime minute. For Anywhere .25 Plan and exceeding minutes, charge will be 25 cents per minute.

Roaming charge

There are no roaming charges for all Earth Tones Prepaid plans as long as roaming is within the coverage area.

Activation fee

To activate accounts, $40 will be charged.

 

Minute expiration rules

Minutes included in each plan will expire after one billing cycle; unused minutes cannot be carried over to the next month. For the Anywhere .25 Plans, there are no expirations since minutes are charged by usage.

Phones

Earth Tones Prepaid subscribers can have the option of using their old phones or purchasing a new one from Earth Tones.
